While enjoying the wonderful and wonderfully cold sights and sounds of Lowell's 11th Annual Winterfest Celebration, including the snowman competition and the famous National Human Dogsled Championship, we'd like to invite you to come in out of the cold and enjoy a Winterfest matinee movie about real dogsleds, pulled by real sled-dogs: Eight Below directed by Frank Marshall. Rated PG. This heartwarming family friendly adventure is based on a true story of a sled-dogteam in the wilds of Antartica. Free and open to the public.
