It's Tax Time Again!

Many common Federal Tax forms are now available in the library. Other forms can be photocopied from a book available at the 2nd floor Reference Desk or found online. The library also has Massachusetts State Tax forms. Other Massachusetts forms and instructions can be obtained online. All tax forms are available free of charge while supplies last. They are located on the first floor of the library near our New Fiction section. Telephone help is available from the Andover IRS office at 978 474–5200, and IRS Telephone Assistance 1 800 829–1040. Library staff are not able to provide tax help. But, what's really special, is a volunteer from AARP will be in the library to offer free tax assistance by appointment on Thursdays starting February 3rd and running thru April 14th 2011. Please call (978) 970-4120 to make an appointment.

Independent Film Night - Thursday, Februry 10th @ 6:30: Nurse. Fighter. Boy. a film by Charles Officer

Join us for the latest installment in our ongoing Independent Film Series in partnership with Film Movement. February's film is Nurse. Fighter. Boy. a film by Charles Officer. Thursday, February 10th @ 6:30PM.

Fans of HBO's The Wire will recognize the eponymous Fighter, Clark Johnson, but his quietly intense performance in this film is a far cry from the fast talking newspaper editor at the Baltimore Sun.  Nurse. Fighter. Boy. charts an affecting account of love, chance and redemption—not to be missed.

The Pollard Library Independent Film series occurs the 2nd Thursday of every month! Please note: These Independent films are not rated by the MPAA and should be considered for mature audiences.

Rated PG. This heartwarming family friendly adventure is based on a true story of a sled-dogteam in the wilds of Antartica.  Free and open to the public.
